Travel to Austria!Barking Mad Skiing and Boarding expect you to arrange your own flights to and from Salzburg. We can assist in this should you require help. We recommend using the cheaper low cost airlines as the flight from Britain is only 1 hr 15mins long. Good flight deals to Austria can be found through:Other airlines do provide a scheduled service to Salzburg, but remain a little more expensive. Arrival in AustriaOnce you have notified us of your arrival time into Salzburg or nearby Airport we will greet you in the arrival lounge. You will be transferred in our resort vehicle to Kirchdorf in Tyrol, and introduced to your accommodation. Transfers usually cost £20.00 pp inc. from/to airport. This may be offered free as part of a Barking Mad Skiing Package. Barking Mad Activities Preferred AccommodationWe offer 4 accommodation packages: Haus FridayOffers superb budget accommodation, with lots of reasonably priced eating places in the village. The Haus is clean and comfortable with a TV lounge and Pool Table. A short 3 minute walk from the village and a 10 minute walk from the nursery slopes, Haus Friday offers an excellent choice of accommodation for families or couples. Ran by an English couple the Haus offers an ensuite and balcony rooms with children’s rooms available on request. A perfect choice for any small family. Cots are available on request, pre booking required.
Hotel Marliesenhof
All rooms are ensuite some with balcony. Children are welcome with discounts of 25% when sharing the same room. A fantastic venue for groups, couples and larger families.
Hotel Neuwirt Situated just outside of the village the hotel is close to the 300 miles of Langlauf tracks which wander through this area. The hotel is very comfortable, with its own bar and restaurant. A non smoking room is available for dining and drinks. A perfect hotel for those who like to relax in peace and quiet. Located next to the ski bus stop you will not have to walk far to get to the slopes.
Hotel Alphof
For the more experienced a ski bus is available regularly throughout the day on your door step. This is the après ski place for Kirchdorf, a place to meet, enjoy a few drinks and dine out if required. Hosting after ski entertainment an early evening session here is not to be missed. The Hotel hosts a sauna, steam room and solarium with inside activities for children. Family rooms are available and all rooms are spacious with ensuite facilities.

Hotel Marliesenhof is situated near Haus Friday, providing good clean ensuite rooms at an affordable cost. Hosting a coffee shop during the day the Hotel is a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. A bar is situated within the dining/lounge are selling reasonably prices beers/wines and spirits. Ran by a typical Austrian family the hotel provides a fantastic venue for those who like to chill at the end of the day with a beer before dinner.
Hotel Neuwirt offers luxury accommodation with sauna solarium and internet access. Excellent accommodation at a very reasonable cost. Half board option offers a choice of meals and salad bar. Breakfast is again provided as a continental basis with a large choice of food available.
Hotel Alphof is positioned at the foot of the nursery slopes, a ski in and ski out facility for beginners Hotel Alphof offers perfect accommodation for beginners. Once you are tired at the end of the day simply go to your room. A 1 st class hotel in a perfect position.
